We have great news as we start Spring this year…we are excited to announce that we have a new Retreat Manager! Praise the Lord! Join us in welcoming Mike and Kate Liedig to Blue Mountain Christian Retreat! This is a huge answer to prayer as they have come at a time where we are preparing to begin our very busy season. God has been very faithful to get us through the slower years caused by the pandemic. Looking at our reservation calendar, things are booking up fast for the Spring, Summer and Fall – what a wonderful blessing!

Mike & Kate grew up in our neighboring Lehigh County and both have been aware of the Retreat since their childhood. They have two young children and a dog. Over the past 15 years, Mike has had experience in construction and the Project Management fields. In addition, Mike has used his giftings to serve as the Worship Director at Crossroads Community Church in Fogelsville, PA along with Men’s Ministry as an event coordinator for the past 10 years. For Mike and Kate, the call to ministry comes from a heart to serve. He loves to engage in outdoor activities with family. Hiking and hunting are on the top of the list. From time to time, you are sure to find a guitar in his hand!
The last 5 years Kate has been the Women’s Ministry Director at their local church. When their first child was born in 2014, Kate began the work of stay at home mom. Prior to children, Kate was in banking. She has God given artistic talents and has used them on projects like Christmas play sets, VBS drama sets, and hallway murals in the children’s area of our local church.
We’re thankful that former Director, Mark Grasso and his wife Katie, live locally and are helping Mike & Kate get acclimated to their new roles.
