The last weekend of October was “Youth Weekend” with Jonny Radcliff (Johnny grew up coming to the retreat with his grandmother as a teen). Teachings on “Pressing Pause to Refill” was a timely message not just to all the teens in attendance, but to all the Youth Pastors and adults as well. You cannot pour out on an empty tank! This generation is on fire. From prodigals returning to new testimonies birthed that weekend, this next generation is on FIRE for God! Keep them in prayer as they go back to their mission field and share about what they experienced here!
Recently, we had Shachah: Worship, Word and Warfare here. The weekend was filled with sessions of “hands-on” instruction and praise using tambourines, streamers and banners. See below for some photos of the event. Pastor Michael and Magrate Yap (founders of Shachah) joined in via zoom and “Auntie Magrate” challenged everyone in the auditorium to:
· Face whatever the Lord has been challenging you with. Ask the Lord for His strategy.
· Stand upon the word of God/believing for healing. Grab everything the Lord has for you.
· Sub-due and possess the Land. With Holy Spirit the Land is purified and the enemy will be under His feet.
· Pray for the Lord to keep our fires burning!
· Magrate said that Michael is the BEST caregiver! He faithfully takes her to chemo treatments and cares for many other things.
The relationship that has been established over these many decades with Shachah is something that we at The Mountain are so appreciative of and reminded to be expressive when we PRAISE!
