God has touched the Mountain with the beautiful colors of fall! This past weekend we had a group of 85 tent campers here with us. They enjoyed the stunning scenery and crisp cool breezes mixed with the warmth of the shining sun – what a treasure!
We’ve been very busy in the last few months so here is a quick summary.
August was filled with private church groups that came to meet God here on the mountain. We are thankful for the churches and ministries that bring their families and groups
to worship here. Over the last few weeks we have served over 40 church groups and hundreds came for our meetings. It’s such a blessing to be able to walk around the retreat and hear the name of Jesus lifted up in songs of praise!
In September we had a mixture of our own speaker events and private groups. We were blessed with Charles Brooks on Labor Day weekend, Jodi Seidler leading a women’s retreat the following weekend, Pastor Ray Barnard brought Leon Timbo for a powerful time of worship during his teachings, and Reverend Peter DeArruda closed out the month with a powerful men’s weekend. Seeing the main sanctuary filled with men seeking after the heart of God is quite moving!
October brought us a new speaker, Pastor Mark Jayakamar, who blessed us with his teaching and testimony. We are looking forward to hear Gwen Mouliert teach the women next
weekend! We do have a wait list for ladies who would still like to come but it’s exciting to watch God work as those who can’t make it at the last minute provide room for those who are waiting to come. God always has a plan!
Another weekend that we are eagerly looking forward to is the youth weekend at the end of October. Jonny Radcliff will be our speaker and the University of Valley Forge Worship Team will invite the youth to join in joyful praise! We still have space so please gather your youth and come join us for fun games and activities, spiritual conversation, good food and great worship!
Last but not least, the Shachah teams from all over the world will be joining us the first 2 weeks in November. We always are so blessed by the amazing teaching and worship with dance, flags, tambourines and more! The movements, colors, songs and Bible teachings will change your heart and fill it with peace and praise.
