Winter on the Mountain
Ah the beauty of winter here on the Mountain! So many of our events are held during Spring Summer and Fall that many people don’t realize we are open during the winter as well. As the pure white glittery snow lays a glistening blanket over the ground we are busy at work. God is so faithful and has brought us some wonderful groups already this winter.
We began the year with a wonderful joy filled group of 108 young and old celebrating the new year with us. In the middle of the month we had a lively group of 126 smiling faces fill our space with praises to God. In the final weeks of January, we had a very sweet youth group come and stay. They were a real encouragement to the staff bringing kindness and respect that was so refreshing. They had fun, worship, Bible teaching and headed out the Blue Mountain Ski Resort nearby for an afternoon.
We kicked off our monthly Worship nights with a twist and began Dinner & Worship. The dinner started at 5pm with over 30 guests…great food and fellowship time! The giftshop was open as well. At 7pm we were blessed with a Spirit filled time of worship that was such a joy as more friends came to join us! We will be having Dinner & Worship nights once a month until our Spring/Summer season kicks off, so check our events calendar and join in on the fun!
